i love birds; i love the magic of their flight; i love the beauty of their songs; i love the part they play in the grand circle of life.
sparrows are unpretentious little birds, small enough to be held in the palm of one's hand
in ancient times, sparrows were sold two for one penny. it is said that God cares even for those sparrows, and if so, how much more important must people be? the point of this being that PEOPLE MATTER! as an artist, i want to embrace this not only in my own artwork, but also in appreciation of others'.

one of the things i love most about colorado are the aspen trees. i love the papery-whiteness of their bark and the nearly-circular shape of their leaves.

but most of all, love the be in the the middle of an aspen stand when the wind ever so gently touches the leaves, making them whisper.
